Dr. Liu completed his undergraduate education at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He completed his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia and his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He then went on to be the first graduate of the Leadership Preventive Medicine Residency program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center where he also earned a MPH at the Center for the Evaluative Clinical Sciences (now known as The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice). Since 2005, Dr. Liu has served as a staff Hospitalist in the Section of Hospital Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Community and Family Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. He also serves as an Associate Program Director for the Leadership Preventive Medicine Residency Program, Medical Director for the Medical Specialties Inpatient Unit and Co-chair for the Medication Safety Subcommittee of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. He is board certified in Internal medicine and General Preventive Medicine.
