Anwar Zoueihid is the Vice President of Health Services at Partners in Care Foundation where he oversees all direct service contracts including Post-Acute Hospital Discharge Services, Network Delivery, and Case Management Services. He supervises four state-funded Multipurpose Senior Services Programs in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Kern County, in addition to care transitions programs. Working in partnership with hospitals, managed health plans and physician groups, Anwar manages private contracts that provide social services in the home and community to identify social determinants and reduce overall costs in health care.
Anwar has a Master of Science-Psychology from San Diego State University. Anwar started his career directly delivering culturally appropriate services to his clients, and his inspiration today remains the same as it did then – to ensure that people receive high quality services, regardless of income or background. Today, he continues to use this inspiration to implement progressive change within elder care and complex case management. Anwar prides himself on creating efficiencies within the programs he manages, assuring compliance while maintaining a strong focus on high quality care.
