Jaime joined Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems (EMHS) in 2008, and has led a variety of successful initiatives for the organization. Her work straddles project management, behavioral health integration, and improving systems of care, across the entire care continuum for Maine’s large aging population. In her current role of Program Manager for Beacon Health, which is the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) which is the population health division of EMHS, leading innovation and practice transformation for EMHS, she is responsible for operations management, outcome/evidence reporting, and strategic planning for the community based, interdisciplinary Community Care Team.

Jaime is often called upon to mentor students from a variety of disciplines, and is invested in improving systems of care to meet the needs of the most vulnerable patients, often older adults and/or those with complex behavioral health needs.

Jaime earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Masters in Social Work from the University of Maine in 1997 and 2006, respectively. She also earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentrated study focus on Healthcare Administration from Southern New Hampshire University in 2014. She has worked as a social worker for more than 20 years across the continuum of care in community based mental health centers, federally qualified health centers, school based health clinics, nursing homes, home care, primary care, emergency medicine, primary care, and both inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities.
