Emmeline Gasink, MD serves as Medical Director of Warwick Forest, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Newport News, VA and is the Medical Director of Quality Assurance for the Lifelong Health Division of Riverside Health System. She received her CMD in 2011 and has been active within Riverside and its medical group in quality and patient safety in the older adult population. She serves as a board member for the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians and Riverside Medical Group. Dr. Gasink received her B.S. in Biology at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She was accepted through the early assurance program with Eastern Virginia Medical School where she received her MD degree. She completed her family medicine residency with Virginia Commonwealth University-Riverside Family Medicine Program in 2007. As part of the Virginia Medical Scholarship Program, she practiced family medicine in an underserved area of Virginia prior to practicing exclusively in geriatric medicine in 2010. Dr. Gasink plans to integrate a coaching and assessment process (Vitalize 360) to enhance well-being and improve the health of the older adult population at Warwick Forest, while focusing on their goals and what is most important to them.
