Dr. Green is board certified in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine, in addition to being a Certified Medical Director through the American Medical Directors Association.

She graduated with honors from Texas A&M College of Medicine in 2003. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at the University of Virginia (UVA) in 2006 and 2007 respectively, and served as a core clinical faculty member at UVA from 2007 to 2011. While there, she developed and led a novel Geriatric Medicine Clerkship for the School of Medicine and was inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Educators.

Dr. Green returned to Texas in 2011 to be closer to her family and at that time, joined the team at Baylor Scott & White (BSW). She currently serves as the Division Director for Geriatric Medicine, and provides medical direction at several long term care facilities in the community.

Dr. Green is a member of multiple committees at BSW, and has been honored with a Faculty Development Award and the Modeling Excellence in Teaching Award. She is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Medical Directors Association, and the American Geriatrics Society. She is a proud wife and mother, with 3 lovely daughters.
