Ashley W. Harris, MD, MSHA is a geriatrician and hospital medical director at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. A Water Valley native, Dr. Harris graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. He received his medical training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed residency training at North Mississippi Medical Center. Subsequently he completed his geriatric fellowship at Harvard and a master of science in health administration from the University of Alabama. Additionally Dr. Harris serves as the medical director of a local skilled nursing facility where he is actively involved in numerous quality improvement initiatives.
