Jenna Hauss, MSW, ACSW has worked in the field of aging for over 11 years providing varied Social Services and Case Management to older adults across a broad continuum of care which includes: acute care hospitals, home health, end of life care, and community based organizations. She has also worked with adults living with chronic mental illness and suffering from homelessness. These experiences have provided her with a unique and accelerated personal insight, more complete perspective, and stronger motivation. Ms. Hauss obtained her Masterâ€™s in Social Work in 2014 from California State University, Long Beach and her Bachelorâ€™s in Social Work from California State University, Northridge in 2008. In 2013, Jenna was awarded the CalSWEC Department of Mental Health Stipend and conducted a thesis which implemented a program providing mental health services to family caregivers caring for those aging in the community.
Jenna is currently working at ONEgeneration as the Director of the Senior Enrichment Center and Care Management Department. Between these two programs, Jenna and her team provide vital social and health services to over 70,000 older adults each year. She is active on the Encino Health & Wellness Committee as well as the Jewish Family Services Brandman Advisory Committee and additionally is a leader in teaching Powerful Tools for Caregivers as well as UCLA Memory to older adults and caregivers throughout the San Fernando Valley.
Jenna remains passionate about improving care and services for the elderly, and has most recently transitioned towards systemic improvements and macro changes within the older adult community by focusing on building critical partnerships between health care services and community based organizations.
