Dionne Lovett

As Director of Coastal AAA, Dionne Lovett is known for getting things done and driving results—through collaboration, partnerships, and relationships. With an enthusiastic and genuinely friendly attitude, Dionne radiates a sincere passion for coordinating and delivering programs and services to seniors.

Dionne earned her BBA in Accounting at Georgia Southern University, and spent seven years working as an accountant at Coastal Georgia Community College in Brunswick, Ga. While there, Dionne worked with students, providing counseling regarding their financial statuses. Drawing on her passion of helping others, Dionne left the college to pursue the position of Finance Director at Coastal Ga Community Action Authority, Inc. in Brunswick to work with low income individuals and managed a budget of over $15 million providing and overseeing anti-poverty programs.

In 2008, Dionne began working with Coastal Regional Commission as the Aging Services Fiscal Analyst. Currently as the Director of Aging Services, Dionne’s contributions center on fiscal responsibility, helping the agency navigate through the most turbulent financial times it has ever experienced. Dionne leads a staff of 15 individuals while promoting program development, financial sustainability, and quality assurance.

Dionne is President of the Georgia Association of AAAs and board member of Georgia Gerontology Society.
